01

Describe the installation before choosing components

A useful sign or display-lighting enquiry starts with the installation rather than a generic request for LED strip. State whether the system is for a sign, light box, shelf, display cabinet, shop window or decorative feature. Share the available width and depth, approximate illuminated length, mounting method and desired appearance. A recessed line, surface-mounted profile and concealed light box can require different profiles, diffusers and accessories. Identify whether the light should be visible as a continuous line, hidden as indirect illumination or used to light products inside a display. The destination country and intended customer type also belong in the brief. Do not select components only because their pictures look similar. The exact strip width, voltage, colour or CCT, LED density, cut length and power requirements must be checked for the chosen product. Recording the actual installation first helps the buyer create a compatible shortlist instead of collecting separate components that may not work together.

02

Match the strip, profile and diffuser as one assembly

The LED strip and aluminium profile should be selected together. Confirm the internal profile space against the strip width and consider whether the profile is intended for recessed, surface, corner or another listed installation. The diffuser changes the appearance of the light line and must fit the selected profile. End caps, clips, connectors and lead wires may also be required. Keep each product family and variant connected to a stable code so the image, detail page, enquiry and quotation refer to the same item. If one project needs two strip colours, two profile lengths or different mounting types, list them on separate lines with separate quantities. Do not copy dimensions, wattage or other specifications from another profile or strip that looks similar. For signs and displays, the buyer should also explain any space restrictions, access for maintenance and whether the components will be visible to the end customer. These details help identify which choices need confirmation before the quotation is final.

03

Add the correct driver, controls and connection accessories

A strip-and-profile system is incomplete without appropriate power and connections. Provide the selected strip code, voltage, intended total length and configuration so the driver or power supply can be reviewed for the actual system. Do not assume that one driver fits every strip, length or control arrangement. A cabinet or display may also require switches, control boards, connectors or lead wires depending on the design. Mirror or furniture-lighting enquiries can include touch switches and control components, but their function, wiring, dimensions, voltage, load and compatibility must be confirmed for the selected model. Group the primary strip, profile, diffuser, power component and accessories under the same installation. Mark optional items separately so the buyer understands what is included and what remains to be selected. When several installations are included in one order, give each system a clear name or reference. This makes the quotation easier to review and reduces confusion when product codes repeat across different projects.

04

Prepare a complete trial-order and customization request

For each installation, list the application, destination country, product codes, variants, lengths and quantities. Separate display samples, installation-test quantities and resale stock. If colour, CCT, size, logo or packaging customization is required, attach the request to the correct model and distinguish mandatory details from preferences. YARLY can review OEM and ODM requests subject to the selected product and final confirmation. Only use confirmed technical wording, certification references or performance claims in private-label packaging. Before confirming a trial order, compare every quotation line with the catalogue and check that the strip, profile, diffuser, driver and accessories form the intended system. Confirm exact prices, packing, documentation, lead time and trade terms for the final selection. The YARLY Gold catalogue groups related product families and allows buyers to select variants and quantities in the inquiry cart. Send the resulting product codes and the installation brief for a model-specific export quotation rather than asking for a general category price.
