01

Select the product before designing the package

Private-label lighting works best when product and branding requirements are separated, then connected to the exact product code, variant and quantity. Start with the actual product family because a ceiling light, outdoor wall light, LED strip, aluminium profile or accessory may require different packaging and printed information. Record the product code and required size, colour, CCT, voltage or other listed variant. If one family contains several versions, list each separately. The same applies when one product will be sold in two markets with different labels or languages. YARLY can discuss colour, size, CCT, logo and packaging customization, subject to confirmation for the selected model. Availability, technical details, packaging and commercial terms must be confirmed from the final shortlist.

  • Choose the exact product family and code first.
  • List every variant and market separately.
  • Connect every branding request to a model and quantity.
02

Prepare the logo and packaging information

Provide the final brand name, preferred logo placement and usable artwork when available. State whether the logo is intended for the product, inner box, colour box, carton label or several locations. Avoid relying only on a low-resolution screenshot. Tie colour requests to a specific product, because the same finish may not apply equally to every material or model. List what the package should show, such as brand name, product name, product code, variant, quantity, market language and importer or distributor information. Only include technical claims, certification statements, warranty language or performance details that are confirmed for the exact product; do not copy them from a similar-looking item.

03

Separate requirements from preferences

Some private-label details are mandatory while others remain flexible. A registered brand name and required market language may be fixed; the exact box style or logo position may be open to recommendation. The same distinction applies to product customization: installation dimensions or destination voltage may be fixed, while finish or CCT may be a preference. Marking this difference helps the supplier review alternatives without changing essential requirements. For mixed-category orders, prepare one packaging row per product code with model, variant, quantity, logo location, label language and carton-mark request.

  • Mark mandatory branding and market-language requirements.
  • Identify flexible packaging and finish preferences.
  • Use one clear row per product code.
04

Send one complete OEM quotation brief

The final request should include destination country, customer type, selected product codes, variants, quantities and requested trade term. Attach the branding and packaging table, identify available artwork and state which requirements are mandatory. If a trial order is planned, distinguish sample or display quantities from the quantity considered for a later order. Exact price, packaging, documentation, lead time and other commercial details should be confirmed after review of the final product and customization list.
